If you have been thinking about visiting Cap-Haitian in Haiti, do not look for any other hotel than SATAMA. Yes, I said it. I have stayed at nice hotels in Cap-Haitian already, but nothing compares to the quality of service I get every single time I stay at SATAMA. The tourist groups I take are ALWAYS 100% satisfied with everything, which makes it the perfect choice for any occasion.
Located just 15 to 20 minutes from the airport, the hotel sits majestically on top of a hill, above the city. This explains the breathtaking views that you can witness from every single room, the lobby, the restaurant and the pool area.
Upon arrival, you are greeted with well-mannered staff members who quickly take charge of your luggages and bring you to the front desk. As soon as you step in, it is impossible not to be mesmerised by the view, which already makes your stay a delight.
The rooms are spacious, simple yet classy and the beds are so comfortable they guarantee a good night sleep. Each room has a little terrace with a view of the city and of the infinity pool. You will always be happy waking up to this view, that's for sure!
The food at the restaurant is a 11/10. Truly, I rarely had meals that were so full of flavours. Once, I took a group of tourists to Cap-Haitian, and by our last night at Satama, they asked for the chef to come out to give him a standing ovation. That is how good the cuisine is. And the best part? The chef is HAITIAN.
When you eat over there, you can be sure that the table will go silent first then hear a bunch of...ouhh.. yummm...wow... all over the place. haha. Not kidding. While the breakfast (included in the room price) varied from very good to average, the dining experience never ever disappoints. It is truly a superior experience that will leave your tastebuds satisfied and your belly happy.
